People of current world heavily depend on internet chatting both for communication and entertainment purpose. There are millions of people always chatting around the world. And thousands of chatting software are also serving them. Probably most of the users use Facebook chat to talk with friends. And there are lots of other services available. Such as Yahoo Messenger, Skype, MSN, ooVoo, Pidgin, Nimbuzz and so many.
But today I am gonna talk about Google Talk (Gtalk) - this is my personal choice.
This is a very light and fast instant messaging software. Its size is only 1.5 MB. You can both perform audio and text chat. And if you wanna make a video call from it then you have install an additional plugin for it.
Within a small size program you will find all the necessary options you may need. You can set you status, status message, change font and font size, colors, set image, block irritating persons etc.
You can also send files by Google Talk to your friends. To whom you wanna send any file must be online. Offline friends can't be sent files. The procedure to send file is shown below with image:

Note: You can also use Gtalk without installing it! Just use your Gmail Account with standard look. Then you will find it in the left panel.
