Change Time To Date Below Post Title In Blogger

Blogger provides the facility to change the default template to custom template. There are many web designers who design these custom templates. Some professional webmasters design custom templates with all the features and they are perfect from any angle and include everything a blogger needs to apply. But there are some unprofessional web designers who design templates but most of the features are missing in it and it can be ignored by many bloggers especially newbies who want a perfect theme for their new blog with all the features. One of the most missing things in the custom templates is the DATE under the blog post title. Many custom templates have this feature missing and instead of showing the date, it shows TIME with author name. Date is important as compared to time, because it lets your reader know that when you have exactly published your article and also good according to SEO point of view too, however the time shown does not allow doing so. Se here, in this tutorial, I am going to show you how to show date instead of time under each blog post title. You can apply the date feature by following the steps below:

1. Login to your Blogger Dashboard.

2. Go to Template.

3. Backup your Template. (Click Here To See, How?)

4. Click Edit HTML

5. Find The Following Line by Pressing CTRL+F.
<data:post.timestamp/>           (You Can Find This Code Probably At 2 Places)

6. Replace The Above Line, Wherever You Find It, With:
<data:post.dateheader/>

7. Click "SAVE TEMPLATE".

That’s it, you are all done. Refresh Your Blog To See The Changes.
