So, submitting a sitemap to Google is very important as it helps you to index your posts in search results. Google webmasters provide you all SEO tools and you can submit your sitemap to Google in webmaster tools. Sitemap is like a directory of all posts exits on your blog. Google, Bing and Yahoo use this this sitemap to index your bloy that may be missed in regular crawling.
A regular Blogger sitemap index only 26 recent posts. In this post we shall submit a complete sitemap. After submitting sitemap when you update your blog, Sitemap will automatically index it in Google search results. Submitting a Blogger Sitemap to Google
- Go to Google Webmasters and Sign in with your Google ID
- Your Blogger blog will be shown in list
- Click on the URL of your blog which's sitemap you want to submit
- Go to Optimization > Sitemap > Add /Test Sitemap (See Screen Shot)
- After reaching here, copy the code given below and paste in the box 3 as mention in Screen shot
- Copy Code 1 your blog has Less than 500 posts
- Copy Code 2 your blog has Less than 1000 posts
- Copy Code 2 your blog has Less than 1500 posts
