The Blogger team has provided the facility to show a specific page instead of any page. By using a “CUSTOM REDIRECT” option in blogger you can redirect to a specific page permanently. For example, when someone visit your blog, they will see BLOG POSTS which are on home page, and you want to show them a static "HOME PAGE", by “CUSTOM REDIRECTS” option you can do so . You can implement this “CUSTOM REDIRECT” option by following the simple steps:
- Login to the Blogger Dashboard.
- Click On (I) SETTINGS > (II) SEARCH PREFENCES.
- In (I) ERRORS AND REDIRECTIONS section, click (II) EDIT button in front of CUSTOM REDIRECTS.
- Then enter the URL’s in (I) FROM (Your URL Goes Here) and (II) TO (Your URL Goes Here) textboxes. Also CHECK the boxes with FROM and PERMANENT and Click (III) SAVE and then click (IV) SAVE CHANGES.
That’s it, you are all done.
Now you can enter the URL in the web browser to check the redirects with custom redirect link.
